Since 1985, Medical Anesthesia Consultants Medical Group, Inc. (MAC), has provided the highest quality anesthetic care to thousands of patients.

Headquartered in San Ramon, MAC is the largest private anesthesiology group in Northern California. We have over 65 full-time and 6 part-time board certified anesthesiologists, many with sub-specialty training and fellowships. MAC anesthesiologists have been trained at the most prestigious universities and have published numerous peer-reviewed articles.

Our member physicians serve in key leadership roles at our affiliated hospitals. We also have served in leadership positions with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, California Society of Anesthesiologists, John Muir Medical Center, and Muir Medical Group IPA.
